GASTRONOMY

The Valldigna gastronomy is included in the Mediterranean diet and the main characteristic of the Mediterranean cuisine is based on the rich variety of the Valencian products: grapes, wine, nougat, cherry, medlar, kaki Persimmon, oranges, artichokes, rice, cold meat, oil, dates, figs, watermelons, melons, tomatoes, eels, and so on… All these and other products allow us to prepare great tasting dishes.

 

Mediterranean cuisine allows ut to indulge the palate with dishes of all types: appetizers, oil cakes, soups and stews, rice and cassoletes, meat, fish, sweets… Any time is a good time to try a plate of broad beans, carquinyols, oven rice, livers, oil cakes…

 

We have special and different meals throughtout the day, to each time of year, to each Festival. The information below includes some cooking recipes for the unique local dishes.
